Albert Reinhart Berger, age 84 of Grand Junction, CO passed away August 29, 2015 at the Veterans Administration Living Center.He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Korean War. Albert was the owner and representative of a wholesale Commercial Plumbing Co.
Al was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Berger who died August 12th of this year, and his son, Jim L. Berger, who died August 19th of this year.
Survivors include three sons, David L. Berger, Minneapolis, MN, Steven A. Berger, Grand Junction, CO, Michael A. Berger. Westminster, CO, a brother, John Berger, Thornton, CO and a sister, Bertha Berger of Montana. Also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass for both Jane and Al Berger will be celebrated on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Jospeh Church in Grand Junction,, CO followed by a Celebration of Life at a Taste of Heaven in Grand Junction immediatley following the Mass.
Graveside services for both Al and Jane will be Tuesday October 13, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction, CO. Al will receive Military Honors including a gun salute and presention of the flag for his srvice to our country.
