Alfonso Gallegos

Alfonso Johnny Gallegos II (Al), 52, passed suddenly and unexpectedly on October 24, 2017 at his home in De Beque, CO.
Al was born March 16,1965 to Alfonso Gallegos and Eleanor Martinez. Growing up he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his Dad. A past time he would pass along to his own children. Al had 2 children with then wife Clarise, Samantha and Alfonso III (Bubba). The kids will always remember his love for camping, fishing, boating and the Dallas Cowboys. Al also enjoyed spending time with his best friend Sam. After divorcing Al left Utah to work with Union Pacific Railroad until finally landing his dream job as a Dam Tender in CO.  He loved his job and bragged to everyone about his time at the Dam. Al was engaged to be married in December to fiance Sarah which he was very excited about before his passing.
Al is survived by his fiance Sarah, daughter Samantha (Jonathan), son Alfonso (Brittany), Mother Eleanor, Sisters Gina (Andy), Marcy, brother Roger and new Granddaughter Gabriella, who he was so excited to meet.
Al is preceded in death by his Father Alfonso and sister Jovalee.
Family had a small private viewing in Colorado, a dinner for family and friends will take place on Sunday November 5, 2017 and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Feel free to reach out to Samantha, Bubba or Gina for details.
