Billie Oliver

Bill G. Oliver December 21, 1949 - May 17, 2015 Bill G. Oliver passed away peacefully on May 17, 2015 at his home. Bill was born on December 21, 1949 in Champaign, Illinois. He was the son of the late Olin Gene and Oleta Faye (Brooks) Oliver. After receiving his Master’s in Psychology, Bill went on to be a Psychology Technician in California for twenty years. After moving to Colorado in 2004 Bill continued in his profession at the Grand Junction Regional Center until he retired in 2014. Bill was a passionate advocate for the Second Amendment and enjoyed spending his time teaching others about guns and gun safety. He was also an avid motorcyclist who enjoyed spending leisurely rides on his bike and camping in the mountains with his wife. Bill was a kind, loving, and generous man who willingly gave to anyone in need. He treated his friends like family and would always go out of his way to lend a hand however needed. He is survived by his wife, Debbi, his son Vincent and his wife Mayra Oliver, his daughter Heather and her husband Dustin Williams, his three grandchildren and his sister Diane and her husband Jack Wilbourne. A celebration of Bill’s life will take place this summer with family and friends.
