Honey Larson

Honey Jex Larson, age 76, passed November 9, 2015 following a brief illness in Grand Junction, CO Born November 25, 1938, in Salt Lake City, UT, she was the daughter of LeRoy Bird Jex, and Sylvia Munk Jex. Honey graduated from San Rafael High School in San Rafael, CA and attended the University of Utah. Honey was very active in the Salt Lake Community, and volunteered much of her time in the Salt Lake Junior League, Hospice, the Utah Girl Scout Council, and with Neighborhood House. She played tennis, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed knitting. Honey was a warm, giving, and compassionate person. Many who knew her considered her a friend. She enjoyed a close relationship with her son and daughter in-law, moving from Salt Lake City to Fruita, CO, to be able to spend more time with them for the last part of her life. Honey was preceded in death by her husband Levi Ridd Larson, and her sister Virginia “Ginger” Moslander. Honey is survived by her son James (Jennifer) Larson, and Jennifer’s two children Sydney and Byron. No services will be held.
