Karol Symm

Karol Lynn (Shelton) Symm, age 70 of Grand Junction, CO passed away on April 7, 2020 from natural causes.

Karol left us to be with our Heavenly Father and will forever be remembered by those who knew her.  She was born on March 22, 1950 in Seattle, WA to Karl and Lucille (Thomas) Shelton.  She was 1 of 7 siblings; Lee, Paula, Betty, Karol, Susie, Terri, and Leah.  She deeply loved her 2 children; Sheila Lee Shelton and Dean Ray Symm whom will continue to remember her as a beautiful and loving mother.  She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Karol enjoyed arts and crafts, painting flowers, and spending time in the company of her many friends.  Karol carried her Bible close to her heart for many years and was a member of the Apostle Faith Church in Yakima, WA until she moved to Grand Junction to be with her children.  There she attended New Day Ministries.  Karol was preceded in death by her sister Betty, her parents, and her grandson Troy.

A service for immediate family members will be held on April 13, 2020 at Brown’s Funeral Home in Grand Junction, CO.  Memories and condolences can be shared on their website.  A memorial will be planned for a later date.
