Mary Vollrath

Mary Ann Vollrath, age 90, went to be with the Lord on Friday May 15, 2015.  Born at home February 3, 1925 in Wheaton, Illinois to Vinton and Martha (Rozek) Walworth, she attended St. Michael School through the 8 ^th grade.  Mary Ann went on to graduate from Wheaton High School in 1944.  She worked for Howard Aircraft in St. Charles, Illinois before she was hired by the Treasury Department, Bureau of Public Debt in Chicago in 1945.  She and her husband Marvin W. Vollrath married on October 29, 1949 and together they raised 5 wonderful children.  Mary Ann and Marvin moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1962, where they owned and operated the Skyline Motel until 1976.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin and one brother, Vinton Jr..  She is survived by her 5 children, Mark J. Vollrath of Grand Junction, CO, Martin J. Vollrath of Lakewood, CO, Matthew J. Vollrath of Clifton, CO, Marilyn A. Dykstra of Big Timber, MT and Marlene A. Lane of Orlando, FL, 10 Grand children and 9 Great Grandchildren.
