Raymond Martin,

Raymond Kent Martin was born on April 22, 1935 in Victor, Colorado and was raised by an extended family that included his mother and stepfather, Lois and Levi Barnes and his grandparents and uncle, Arthur and Blanche Harrison and Beryl Harrison. He graduated from Victor High School in 1953 and married Barbara Marshall that same year. They later divorced. In August 1966 he married the love of his life, Connie Lee Pierce. Together they raised seven children: Raeann (Neal) Fehringer, Kenya (Gary) Morse, Vince (Ronda) Martin, Joe (Joy) Ansell III, Robin (Orlan) Dove, Raymond Martin Jr. and Brian Martin. Raymond was dedicated to his profession and continued working right up to the last few weeks before his passing. Since 1954, he was employed as a lab analyst in Uravan, Colorado, Gas Hills, Wyoming, Blanding, Utah and Grand Junction, Colorado. Raymond was devastated by his wife Connie's passing on July 24, 2015. He was also preceded in death by his mother, stepfather, grandparents, uncle, one aunt, Evelyn Swike, mother-in-law, Ruby Pierce and his father Kenneth Martin. His children and a sister, Beverly Johnson-Torelli (Chuck Torelli) survive him as do grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a nephew and family.
