Robert Ruple

Robert William (Will) Ruple passed away on October 21, 2017.  He is survived by his mother, Mary D. Ruple (McVicker) of San Diego, CA; his beautiful daughters, Ellie Dee and Macie Lynn and their mother Anna Ruple (Walch) of Louisville, CO; his sister Heather Gilson (Ruple) and brother-in-law Joseph Gilson and his nieces Mary Angela and Charlotte of Oxford, United Kingdom.

Will was born on July 12, 1975 in Saratoga Springs, New York to the late Captain Robert Ruple II, and Mary D. Ruple (McVicker).  He graduated from Poway High School in Poway, CA in 1993 and went on to study at San Diego State University, Platt College San Diego, and the Golf Academy of America.  His work in the golf industry led him to Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA where he served as Caddy Manager from 2004-2005.  He and his family also lived in Texas before settling in Colorado.

Will was a very creative person and found great joy and passion in his photography.  His talent and skill led him to work as a professional photographer with projects taking him as far afield as Zambia, Ghana, and New Delhi to name a few.  Whether shooting a wedding, BMX race, concert, or nature, his images are striking and will be cherished by family and friends.

By far his greatest pride and joy (and favorite subject of his photography) were his daughters, Ellie and Macie, who he loved with his whole heart and who brought him much happiness.  He had recently found great enjoyment in gardening.  He loved music, traveling, and playing and watching golf. Will was a charming man with a quick wit and an ease with people.  He was loved and will be missed by the family and friends he left behind and who take comfort that he is at peace and with his dad.
