Tonia June Guerette Mossberger

Tonia June Mossberger, born March 31, 1953, and passed April 11, 2022, at the age of 69.

Born in Superior Wisconsin. Moved to Denver, Colorado in 1956. There she attended Bryant Webster, Horace Mann, and North High Schools.

Met the love of her life Maynard Guerette and they married in 1972. Tonia and Maynard were blessed with six children: Kisha, Joshua, Shane, Jonah, Natisha, and Elisha. Whom blessed her with 18 grandchildren and 3 grandbabies. She loved them all unconditionally.

Tonia could make any baby, child or toddler giggle and laugh with her goofy and loving noises, faces and games she played with them. She was able to turn any tantrum, fit or rebellious moment from any age child to a smile, a laugh or just a big teary-eyed hug in a blink of an eye. She was truly one of a kind when it came to interacting with children.

Tonia was known for her delicious donuts that were made with pride and love. She had donut shops in Grand Junction, and then in Clifton where she would retire in 2014.

Tonia will always be remembered for being a very hard worker no matter what job she was doing. She would help anyone in need, with a smile on her face and never expected anything in return.

Whenever a card came your way, she would always make a poem to fit the Occasion. Anyone that ever came in contact with her in anyway, was greeted with a big smile and a huge heart. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.

Tonia was preceded in death by: her husband Maynard; Parents Carl and June Mossberger: Siblings, Carla, Gloria, Roger, Carly, and Deana.

Tonia is survived by: Terry, Becky, Tina, Jody, Larry, Kisha, Josh, Shane, Jonah, Tisha (Mike), Elisha, 18 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Whom will miss her dearly!

Our world just lost one of the most Beautiful persons that walked this earth; but Heaven gained one of the purest souls God created.

We will miss you so much MOM. Love all your babies.

Celebration of Life will be on May 14, 2022 at 3pm at Riverbend Park in Palisade, CO.
